Peroxide: “I don't know… the hammer ides sounds pretty effective.”
*smirk* Another one! Should we go for the head? or just the knees?
I would add that if a quiet word from me is *not* going to do it, then we have a whole other problem… It's easy and effective, and even better, it takes absolutely no effort on my part. See how that works?
peter: “perhaps he is seeking the hammer and the cattle prod.”
*smiles and nodding* In some cases, this would undoubtedly be true and if his dominant gives him what he seeks, then she is creating a dynamic where he is rewarded for being annoying. If that's what she enjoys… that approach would work a treat!
Since it's not me doing the annoying the hammer is my suggestion :)
In absolute seriousness what you said is the way I would want it to go down. You and my Mistress share some things in common and she would probably handle it this way too :)
If it's intentional, I ignore him or put him away somewhere so I don't have to deal with him. There's far more effective and pleasant ways to get my attention. So I agree completely… just tell them to stop, if it's unintentional! My beast is a little smart-mouth sometimes. He can't seem to help himself. But since that really isn't annoying and makes me giggle, that gets a book in the mouth as a gag!

I liked the specific phrase “put him away somewhere”… that made me chuckle.
“My beast is a little smart-mouth sometimes. He can't seem to help himself. But since that really isn't annoying and makes me giggle, that gets a book in the mouth as a gag!”
*smile* Yes, there is genuinely annoying and there is playful teasing. Big difference! A book in the mouth… *takes notes*
Were MyLady to say in a clear voice “stop that, it's annoying me”, I would behave with alacrity.
But she doesn't. She whines about it. She sighs in exasperation, and says “I TOLD you not to do that!” Whining is not sexy, and she is making a biiiiiig mistake if she wants my cooperation. A woman gets a man's cooperation by using her sexuality or sensuality. That's the key, but my wife doesn't know it.
The Butler: “She whines about it. She sighs in exasperation, and says “I TOLD you not to do that!” Whining is not sexy, and she is making a biiiiiig mistake if she wants my cooperation.”
Have you sat down and talked about it with her? A relationship has two parties and both have equal responsibility to communicate their needs. It's possible she doesn't have a clue why you aren't doing what she asks, that her communication style doesn't work for you, and she won't, unless you tell her.
“A woman gets a man's cooperation by using her sexuality or sensuality. That's the key, but my wife doesn't know it.”
It may be the key for *you*, which is fine, but it's not some kind of fundamental truth. I get my submissive's cooperation because we have agreed that it's what we both want as the basis of our relationship; I don't 'use my sexuality' to get it. My dominance is about much more than just that and I'm pretty confident to say that I'm not the lone ranger there.
Either way, I hope you can get to where you want to be with your wife.

With a hammer
Secretive Slave: “With a hammer”
*laugh* Such violence! Why is it submissive men are always so keen on it… baffling.
Seriously, a gentle “Stop that, baby, it's annoying” will do it.

I have NEVER had anyone tell me to stop annoying them in such a lovely manner. Yes, it would totally work for me.
Although I can see limited hammer usage on stubborn family members
Cattle prod FTW

You can do your best to annoy me, and I will gladly oblige… heh.

Now, I can confidently say that 'stubborn family members' are NEVER going to be my submissive… that sooo doesn't count!

Yes, somehow the suggestion for how to handle things only ever applies to 'that OTHER submissive'… heh.
