I somehow managed to lose track of this short sweet little contribution in my drafts (okay, fine, I have 187 drafts, so it’s not entirely surprising…): I’m so sorry, Samantha!
Here folks, have some happies :).

How did you meet?
OkCupid…but I was only looking for friends at the time. Which we were…for three years because he didn’t tell me he liked me, and everything in our relationship happened because I pursued him–I messaged first, I propositioned sex the first time, I asked him out three years later.
How did your relationship develop?
Through 2-3 hour-long weekend dog walks, Facebook sticker “contests,” board games and role playing games. But honestly mostly the weekly dog walking. You end up covering a lot of relationship building topics when it’s just ya’ll, some dogs, and nature.
What do you love about the relationship/her/him?
This is the question I struggled with the most, because it’s so hard to put into words how awesome he is. The support, love, and trust is just…off the charts.
Why does it work for you?
It’s nice not having to pretend (for either of us). Plus, so much of our relationship was based on talking that D/s works out well–there’s so much negotiation and discussion and those are big relationship foundations for me.
How does it make you feel?
Fantastic. I’m not sure I could ever go back to a non-femdom relationship

Hello Ms. Ferns….I had contacted you some time ago regarding a messy D/s relationship…I know you get an extreme amount of letters, and should not assume you remember me….hahah…I will be in Australia (Melbourne) and was wondering if at all possible we could meet? I suppose this is an awkward question for you, yet coming from Canada, and adore your writings, and you…..had to ask…..gail…
Of course I remember you: I hope all is well and you sorted things out.
However, I’m nearly 2000km away from Melbourne, so probably a bit far to travel for a coffee :).
I hope you enjoy your trip!
